Applications for the 20th Memorial International Children's Painting Contest are now Open!

The Memorial Health Group, believing in the healing power of art and supporting for integration of this power into the healing process, is excited to announce the 20th International Children's Painting Contest, which has been held annually since 2005. The theme for this year's contest, which is organized with a different theme each year and is open to children worldwide, has been selected as "The Doctor of My Dreams.”

Marking its 20th anniversary this year, Memorial's traditional international children's painting contest seeks to enhance children's awareness of health through the theme "The Doctor of My Dreams" and provide them the opportunity to express their perspectives on doctors through artistic endeavors. The contest, which is organized for preschool, primary, and secondary school students, not only embraces children's excitement for the contest but also nurtures their passion for art. Applications for the contest will be accepted until May 10, 2025, with paintings prepared using pastels.

Award-winning artworks will be exhibited.

To extend the excitement of the contest throughout the year, the top paintings will be exhibited at Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital for a year.

Contest Schedule and Awards

Children have the opportunity to submit their paintings in person or via mail to Memorial hospitals in Ataşehir, Bahçelievler, Şişli, Ankara, Antalya, Diyarbakır, Dicle, and Kayseri until May 10, 2025. The winners of the contest will be announced on the website at a later date. The awards for the winners are as follows:

• First Place: Bicycle
• Second Place: Vestel V Tab Z1 A 64GB 10.1'' IPS Tablet
• Third Place: Vestel Smart Watch 2 Max Red
• Fourth Place: Decibel K550 Bluetooth Headset
• Honorable Mention: Academy Children's Education Set

Children's paintings will be exhibited in the hospital throughout the entire year.

The genuine works that have ranked in the contest, held to increase children's motivation and allow them to reveal their imagination, will have the opportunity to be exhibited at Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital for the duration of one year.

Application Requirements

1. The contest will be held in three categories: preschool, primary school, and middle school.

2. The paintings shall be painted on 35cm x 50cm drawing paper using pastel crayons.

3. The competitor's name, surname, age, school, parent's name, surname, and phone number should be written on the back right corner of the painting. Each competitor has the right to participate in the contest only once.

4. The paintings submitted to the contest will not be returned to the artists. Only works that have been ranked in the contest can be given to the artists if requested within one year.

5. Competitors can submit their paintings to Memorial hospitals in Ataşehir, Bahçelievler, Şişli, Ankara, Antalya, Diyarbakır, Dicle, and Kayseri in person or via postal service until Saturday, May 10.

5. Contestants can send the photos of their paintings via email to [email protected] by Saturday, May 10.
